- AI grouping and analysis features are implemented using OpenAI's services.
- During this process, we send browser URL, title, and summary information to OpenAI servers.
- Important notes:
- This process does not involve any user-related identification information.
- Data sent to OpenAI is not stored on our servers.
- We do not retain any related logs.
2.3 Sync Functionality
- If you choose to use the sync feature, your Space data will be synchronized across your devices.
- All synchronized data is encrypted using AES 256.
- Encryption process:
- Data is encrypted using AES 256 on the user's browser.
- Encrypted data is stored on Phew AI Tab's servers.
- Decryption keys are saved only on the user's device and are not stored on our servers.
- Only the user can access the encrypted data; no one else (including us) can access it.
2.4 Custom Deployment Options
- For LTD (Lifetime Deal) users, we offer the option to sync and deploy Spaces in your own Supabase instance.
2.5 Database Structure Transparency
- To increase transparency, we have open-sourced the database structure related to Spaces.
- Users can view this database structure on our official website to understand how their data is stored.
3. Data Security
3.1 Local Encryption
- Your Space data is stored using AES 256 local encryption.
- Decryption keys are stored only on your device.
3.2 No Server Access
- Our system design ensures that we cannot access your personal browsing data or Space content.
4. Third-Party Services
4.1 OpenAI Services
- We use OpenAI's services to provide AI grouping and analysis features.
- Data sent to OpenAI is used only for immediate processing and is not permanently stored.
4.2 Supabase (LTD Users Only)
- If you choose to use your own Supabase instance, please note that you should adhere to Supabase's privacy policy and terms of use.
5. User Permissions
This extension requires the following permissions to function properly:
- Access to tabs and browsing activity: For AI grouping and analysis features.
- Storage: To save locally encrypted data and settings.
- Network access: To communicate with OpenAI services and our sync servers (if enabled).
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- All locally stored data can be completely deleted by uninstalling the extension.
- For users using the sync feature, you can delete all synchronized data at any time through the extension settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
